Lost dignity of the IT field....

Yes... Unfortunately its true....
and I am also in the same field....

I dont know but how can we loose something so important to make money...??

Client is like god for the IT companies.... but they are taken too much seriously sometime....
Most of the clients are from US..

So offices are used to follow the US calender...
so we cant have holidays on Indian festivals .... but we are forced to have holidays on their festivals.... just because their people are not working in those days...

And the icing on the cake is... US calender is not followed strictly....
No Five days week... at the most alternate Saturdays are off....

I have only one question.... Why....???
Why we are loosing our identities....
Why cant we force them to respect our values...??
If we can have holidays on Christmas....
Why cant we have a mini vacation on navratri..???

There is something missing at our side.... and its called will power...
after better relations and if our services are best.... they will surely follow our calender...

Lets see who does this first....!!!!

Consequences of RAB NE BANADI JODI.......!!!!

Remember my Room mates Sandy and Modi???
They were with me on the Mt. ABU trip....

So the current topic is about the return journey from the movie called... RAB NE BANADI JODI......

The show started at 10 : 30 in the night....
and as the Kathakar ( ladani ) insisted so much... they went to FUN REPUBLIC....
quite far from my room .... about 10 kilometers....

the movie is some what long so they started at 1 :30 from FR and coming towards room....
It was around 1 : 45 am .... and the MODI was driving bike.... ( FYI : Its my bike.... Apache )....

So the over smart modi chose to come from Panchwati to MM...
There are hell lot of ways to come at our room from FR... but as the destiny defined they came from Jade blue....
Sandy got the intuition about cops... but he didnt tell anything and they kept driving....

And cop called them off.....

Now the fun starts.....

Fortunately Modi was driving ... and he is having license... ( sandy have two expired learning licenses... due to the tight schedule between ahmedabad , bharuch and pune.... he cant found time for that....)

Cop was thinking that they are having a theft bike ... ( they were driving at somewhat high speed....)

Modi went to cop ... and cop asked ... that whose bike is this....
Modi told its mine... ( as i said over smart modi...)
Cop asked for the bike number...
so modi went back to bike to check the number....

Cop says if its your bike then why you are not remembering the number???
Modi's foolish argument was.... I am suffering from cold... thats why.....
And here comes the life saver Sandy in the picture....
He says... we have 4 vehicles at home.. i dont remember the number of all....

Cop replies.... You have Airplane at home... I dont care... You should remember the numbers... :-)...

now cop asks for modi's license..
Modi keeps photo copy of his license ... not the original...
Cops says ... why you are not keeping original??
modi's answer : for safety purpose....
cop : is it in the safe vault??
Now cop again doubted that... your license is from Nadiad and bike from Baroda .. How??

now cop takes the key from bike....
( My bikes key is broken in such a manner that it works totally fine but we cant attach the key chain with it...)
Cop : look at the key... it looks duplicate... are you stealing it??
modi : noway... its original one... look TVS is written on it....
Cop : I also written on the duplicate one....
Cop : now... stay here up till morning.... go to the police station at sleep over there... fan is on....

Now sandy got angry over him.... and denied his offer....
Cop asked for the identity proof.....
Over over smart modi showed his visiting card!!!!!!

and cop refused for that....
He also failed to recognised our company's name.....

and butter on the cake was.... they were not having the movie tickets with them.....
Now sandy offered that if i call my friend and confirm that we were that at movie ... will you let us go??

Finally that gentle man agreed upon that....
Now manish just reached at home and was changing his clothes... so he didnt took phone at first....
After some time at second attempt he received the call....

Now cop asked for the address of our room ... and ladani was not knowing the exact location...
but he managed to show the route to reach our room....

and finally cop agreed that ok... you can go....
but he again frightened modi... that I have written your name...
If any bomb found in this area or any theft is reported... we will call you ....

The modi caught in the worst mood of his life....
And after few minutes ladani called back... to ask... how many slaps you got from Cop??

oh god.... what a fine time they had!!!!
any inputs from the victims of this case are invited!!!

Ya... whenever the thoughts of old collage and school days surrounds me....

People who knows me...
They knows that this is not possible...
Coz I can never be upset for more then one day....

But yes those sweet memories indeed surrounds me quite often... specially nowadays...
The reason behind that is.. I recently met my old collage buddies.... and some school buddies also....

All are doing fine... and I am happy to know that..

I think I am blessed since my birth... coz was never been alone without any friends....
school friends.... collage friends.... and now the friends at work place....

All are just great...

So thank you god for giving me the basket full of these friends....
But I am having only one question to ask....

Cant I leave with these friends all together??

The whole dialog is very effective in gujarati.... so here it is...

Well i have few around me known as nieces and nephews....

these are my encounters with them.... and after these incidents....
I strongly believe that this kind of stuff should be sent with statuary warning by GOD...

once i asked one my nephew ... that how you spell elephant??
and the answer was... E... l .... i.... f.... a.... n... and t....
I told him that no... its not the correct spelling...
And the answer was... Ya.. it mat be wrong... but that's how I spell it... and you asked me so...

Can anyone argue for this kind of answers??
Do you have these kind of devils around... I am having few and still counting...

Well.. nothing much....
It eat ups all your time....
recession may come at any time....
ups and downs of IT boom.... etc.... etc....

But do you know what it gives??
There you are...

It gives ... big centrally Air conditioned offices.... with bays inside....
This atmosphere... gives you a big tummy in less then 2 year....
People who look over this fact... are well distinguishable... and know as IT guy...!!!

another one is the tension and stress....
People who cant manage stress... are not worth in this field....

and last but not the list....
The vocab of IT person is just best you ever heard....
some of the examples are here....

1) Can you show me the path (route should be there) to xyz building?

2) When it comes to decide something ... and to decide it later.... IT person will say... we will decide it run time....

3) People sends message as... My grandma is in CPU (ICU)... so i am not coming office today...

4) people used to go for Tea... to get F5 (refresh)..

5) Many times people flashes their ID card in front of their home's door and waiting for door to open....

6) Many time people asks for the other version of goods while purchasing it...

7) It person asks for 256 Mb of tablets at medicine shop...

and the list goes on and on.....

so... seat back and get relaxed... this all are the symptoms of the IT guys... encounter them ... with this kind of characteristics.....
